The thesis is devoted to the problem of the training patriotism at young schoolchildren in out of school educative activity. The research work gives the basic description of the stages of development the patriotic training in Ukraine; the definition, the contents, the structure and the state of the patriotic education in out of school activity is investigated. The criteria and levels of patriotic education are defined. The new technologies of the patriotic education are worked out and tested as a result of experimental work.
