Essay

The thesis provides a theoretical background for a model of organisation and management of student social service based at higher educational institution and seeking to support social integration of young people. A study of social problems faced by students in a contemporary society has been conducted. This work outlines the main directions of social work with students and highlights the most acute issues and challenges in the field. It determines the role and place of the model in the system of management of higher educational institution and describes the techniques for its implementation. The main conditions required for the successful implementation of the model are described. The effectiveness of student social services as an integrated part of management of higher educational institution as well as the importance of development and extension of such services have been proved experimentally.
