The analysis of civilization is lead in the dissertation as philosophical and psychology - pedagogical concept, is found out its essence, is determined its structure, parameters and levels of forming. The analysis of foreign and domestic experience of civil education of youth is lead in the dissertation, the role of historic - regional geographic work in this process is shown. Psychological mechanisms of development motive - valuable sphere of the person which is the basis of formation of its civil qualities are interpreted. It is theoretically proved and checked up experimentally pedagogical conditions of education of civilization at senior pupils in the process of historic - regional geographic activity.
