Essay

The dissertation is devoted to a choice of expedient type of the engine for a lorry. The opportunity of the equipment of the automobile is considered by a diesel engine and the petrol engine. In dissertational work the technique which allows to choose expedient type of the engine for a lorry on conditions of its operation is developed. For realization of a technique the mathematical model of calculation of the charge of fuel, emission of harmful substances with fulfilled gases of a diesel engine of a lorry was specified. It is offered to estimate expedient type of the engine in view of charges on operation of a lorry and power parameters of the engine at movement of a lorry on to driving cycles. The researches which have been carried spent on this model, have shown, that at the automobile with a diesel engine fuel profitability irrespective of conditions of its movement is much better in comparison with the automobile on which the petrol engine is established. Taking into account ecological parametersand charges on operation the automobile with a diesel engine has advantage to operation on main to a driving cycle, and the automobile with the petrol engine on city to a driving cycle. The reliability, the results of parameters of a lorry received on mathematical model with a diesel engine on city to a driving cycle it was confirmed with satisfactory concurrence to results of road tests of a lorry to a diesel engine in same a driving cycle.
