Style Evolution of the Icon-Painting of Slobozanshina in XVII -Early XIХ Centuries. The dissertation in declicated to the study of Slobozhanshchina's icon-painting in the XVII - the beginning of the XIX centuries and its style evolution. The regional icon-painting centres and their role in the erritory's cultural life are being defined. The iconography And style peculiarities of regional icon-painting, a prominent importance of the Ukrainian barogue in its culture are beeng analized. The place of the Slobozhanshchina icon in the Ukrainian art's history of the designeed period has been reveaied. A number of the earlier unknown works of art and the new names of Slobozhanshchina icon- painting have been introduced into the scientific circulation.
