Gapotchenko N. Structural, Genre and Stylistic Peculiarities of Interviews in Modern French Press (Communicative and Pragmatic Aspects)

This thesis focuses on the study of communicative, pragmatic and stylistic features of interviews in Modern French press. Interview is regarded as a specific genre of texts in press. Main components of communicative situations and typical pragmatic manifestations of texts under study have been analysed. The respective peculiarities of speech intercourse between a journalist-interviewer and a respondent characteristic of dialogical communication have been established. Main kinds of interviewer's interrogative speech acts have been determined. Units of the interview communicative and pragmatic model have been singled out. Quantitative data about the structure of interviews in Modern French press have been obtained. Basic lexical, morphological, syntactical, graphic stylistic means, stylistic figures used to actualise the interview texts authors' communicative intentions and pragmatic aims have been examined
