Gutsan L. Pedagogical Education of Younger Schoolchildren’s Positive Attitude to Traditions and Customs of Ukrainian People During Art-Labour Activity.

The dissertation is devoted to the research of a problem of education of younger schoolchildren’s positive attitude to traditions and customs of Ukrainian people during art – labour activity. The essence and interrelation of concepts „tradition”, „custom”, „ceremony”, „ritual” and „holiday” which represent the contents of national system of labour education of rising generations have been revealed. The structure of a younger schoolboy’s positive attitude to labour traditions and customs of Ukrainian people has been investigated, the parameters have been defined and the criteria have been worked out which in the combination determine levels of good breeding of the designated personal quality of a child. The developed technique of education of younger schoolchildren’s positive attitude to traditions and customs of Ukrainian people provided: introduction in educational practice of the integrated course „the Ukrainian ethnodesign” in which the information on art work, the subject „ Ukraine and I ”, music and choreography was united and supplemented with the elements of the Ukrainian traditions and customs.
