The object - of research professional activity of mining workers in conditions of high level psychologic strain; the aim - of research is working out criteria and methods of the professional fitness of operators – underground electrofitters – whose work demands high nervous and psychologic strain; methods of research the systematic analysis of the professional activity, observations, natural and laboratory experiments, testing, professiography, expert estimation, methods of mathematical statistics; scientific novelty of results achieved well-known, methods of estimation of operators’ individual features have been adapted to extreme conditions of the operators activity and have also been supplemented with methods of the highest mental functions estimation; diagnostics of estimation of underground systems operators’ individual features has got further development due to making correspondent psychodiagnostic complex, adequate to the conditions of the underground electrofitter’s activity; structurally – functional modeling in application to underground electrosystems operators has got further development; the theoretical meaning of the research is in realizing systematic analysis of the professional choice problem in modern conditions of the mining industry in working out methods of determination of professionally important features of workers with a high in extreme conditions; the practical significance of the results achieved is in working out the complex of psychodiagnostic methods of the professional choice of the underground electrofitters whose work differs greatly from other mining professions by high level of psychological loading. Is introduced into YKK, Vocational Electrotechnical Lyceum, t. Bryanka; the field is psychology of work of the coal-mining industry.
