Subject of research: process of utilization of machine-tool operators' labour potential at the heavy machine-building works. Objective of research: development, theoretical substantiation and methodical ensuring of motivation methods of machine-tool operators labour potential increasing at the heavy machine-building works. Methods of research: logical generalization and system approach, formal and dialectical logic, complex analysis and synthesis, morphological and factor analysis, questioning. Theoretical importance of carried out research consists in theoretical positions deepening and development scientific-and-practical recommendations concerning motivation of increasing of industrial machine-building enterprise workers' labour potential. Practical importance: the worked out instruments of analysis, showing and methodical recommendations are basis for improvement of process of using and increasing of machine-tool operators' labour potential at the machine-building enterprise and will render development assistance to: machine-tool operators' labour potential, productivity and quality of labour, aggregate employment in country, living standard of population. The results of research have been realized: at JSC "NKMZ" regarding advance of labour potential of main manufacturing department machine-tool operators, and in developing of the system of their labour motivation; in activity of Productivity center of Ministry of labour and social policy of Ukraine; in teaching discipline "Labour economics". The scientific novelty consists in a new decision of questions of development of theoretical and practical positions concerning use and increase of labour potential of workers of the industrial enterprise of a machine-building branch. The notion of "labour potential" is deepened. The notion of a category "motivational potential" is presented as a worker's ability for response on the motivational influence. The way of the analysis of labour motivation methods system is offered on the basis of a matrix of comparisonof labour motivation methods and labour values. The individual and generalized parameters of motivation methods quality and degree of satisfaction of workers labour values are proved. The motivational types of machine-tool operators are specified. The actions to manage the system of labour motivation methods of workers at the enterprise are developed, also the organizational-and-economic actions of increase of labour potential of machine-tool operators are submitted. The scope of implementing is industrial enterprises of different patterns of ownership; scientific institutions in area of improving productive forces and labour economics; institutes of higher education.
