Research object: process of forming of cognitive independence of students of economic college. Research purpose: to develop, to motivate scientifically and to carry out experimental verification of method of forming of cognitive independence of students of economic college by facilities of information technologies. Research methods: theoretical, empiric, methods of mathematical statistics. The practical value of research consists in determination of criteria, indexes and levels of formed of cognitive independence of students of economic colleges; in development of recommendations in forming of cognitive independence by facilities of computer trains games, multimedia, computer design; in development of the system of controls tasks with the purpose of diagnostics of levels of formed cognitive independence. Research results will become scientifically-methodical basis both for the improvement of preparation of students of economic colleges and for practice of work of economists in different industries ofnational economy. The scientific novelty of the got results consists in the fact that the method of application of information technologies as the mean of forming of cognitive independence of students of economic college in obedience to certain directions the personal touch of which there is displacement of accents from the leading role of teacher in relation to organization of cognitive activity of students on independent cognitive activity of students; the model of development of cognitive independence of personality is improved; scientific knowledge about the use of information technologies in an educational process , positions in determination of criteria, indexes and levels of formed of cognitive independence of students have got further development. The results of dissertation research are used in higher economic educational establishments of the І-ІІ levels of accreditation.
