The process of exploitation and repair of the rolling-stock. The aim of investigation is the reliability augmentation of activity axle-box of clusters of wheel pairs of the rolling-stock. The methods of probability theory and reliability, mathematical statistics utilised. The methods and model of the valuation of the parametrical reliability of the stationery joint of the slipping junction in view of the lower deviation of the mating members in rolling? piching planes and in both ones at the same time have been developed. For the first time this technique allowed to establish the objective laws of wear and chenge in surface shape of axle neck and of the inner race of the slipping junction with the rolling stock run. New dependences of wear strength and realiability of junction are provided with the garanteed tension of the junction from the influence of physical and mechanical characteristics, structure, thickness of the recaimed layer and from the technical and operation factors.
