Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to the problem of theory and practice of the social-pedagogical assistance of children, who needed protection in Ukraine in the second part of the 19th century - at the beginning of the 20th century. The author of the dissertation has revealed and formulated the structure, the matter and forms of social-pedagogical assistance of children by zemsky bodies of the local authorities, the Christian church, social organizations and private persons. In the dissertation there was actualized the experience of penitentiary, antialcoholic, religious and moral education on new generation. The possibilities of using modern educational institutions are also determined in the research.
