The thesis highlights translation method of V. Rich as the interpreter of the Ukrainian belles-lettres in the following aspects: 1) the individual context of the translator as connected with her translation activity; 2) V. Rich's explicit poetics formed by the Anglophone translation poetics and the translator's interpretation principles; 3) implicit poetics of the translator deduced through comparison of source and target texts; 4) comparative analysis of the implicit and explicit poetics, and the normative translation poetics in the Anglophone world. The Appendix presents bibliography of V. Rich's translations from the Ukrainian literature
