Essay

The object is the process of socialization of gifted schoolchildren; the aim is the theoretical bases of the specific character of the process of socialization of gifted schoolchildren in the training and educational environment of a relevant comprehensive secondary school and the practical revelation of social – pedagogical conditions contributing to the successful social adaptation of schoolchildren; methods include theoretical, empirical, prognostic and pedagogical experiment. The theoretical analysis of the problem of the schoolchildren’s aptitude as the display of their creative gifts is under consideration, the notions of “socialization of an individual” and “personality development” are analysed; the content of the notion “aptitude” is specified; the approaches to the search of pedagogical conditions of socialization of gifted schoolchildren are offered and the peculiarities are defined ; the optimal ways of implementation of peculiarities of the process of socialization of gifted schoolchildren of a relevant comprehensive school are determined.
