Subject: educational and training process in higher educational establishments in Ukraine. The purpose of the investigation is to develop and give a theoretical substantiation and experimental check of the essence of patriotic upbringing of future engineers and techniques of its realization in the course of studying Humanities and Social Sciences. The methods of the study applied are theoretical, empirical and statistical. Practical re-sults: the technique of patriotic upbringing of future engineers in the course of studying Humanities and Social Sciences, teaching and educational materials special courses were de-veloped.
