Strazhnikova I. The pedagogical views and educational activity of Ivanna Petriv (1892– 1971)

Object: the leading ideas and educational activity of the representatives of pedagogical thought of the XX-th century; aim: to analize the main didactic-educational ideas of I.Petriv’s creative heritage, to uncover her contribution into the formation and development of national school and enlightenment of the ukrainians of eastern part of Galichina; methods: biographic, comparative, historic-retrospective, theoretic summary; novelty: the integral analysis of pedagogical ideas and social enlightenment of I.Petriv’s activity in the context of social-cultural development of eastern part of Galichina at the beginning of the XX-th century, the unknown documents which were connected with I. Petriv’s activity were put into scientific field; results: the materials are installated into the process of future teachers training, the collection of I.Petriv’s artistic works is published; sphere: general pedagogics and history of pedagogics.
