In this dissertation the author has grounded and experimentally tested the system of the individually- oriented upbringing of senior pupils on the basis of national military-cossack traditions, in the process of their pre-conscriptional training as well as the complex of pedagogical conditions that are meaningful for its functioning. The author also has suggested a mechanism of realizing the state task of renewing the aims, contents and technologies of forming among senior pupils their readiness to defend their Motherland.
