Protsiv L. The problem of personality's self-education in creative and epistolary heritage of Ukrainian writers (20-30-ies of the XX-th century)

In the dissertation the complex analysis of home works as to the problem of personality's self-education has been fulfilled; the essence and sources of the development of self-education have been exposed; the peculiarities of self-education in senior school age have been characterized; the creative and epistolary heritage of Ukrainian writers of 1920-1930 as to self-education has been analysed; the educational potential of the heritage in the forming of necessity of personality's self-education has been proved; the methods and ways of self-education have been analysed; the possibilities of creative usage by pedagogs of the heritage of home writers of that period in organization, management and correction of pupils' self-education in lesson and out-lesson work according to modern social-political and cultural conditions have been determined.
