Object: the process of the development of higher technical education in Ukraine; aim: to stipulate characteristic features of the process of the development of higher technical education in Ukraine in the period of the 20 – 30th of the 20th century; methods: problem-chronological, system-structural, historical typology, retrospective, periodisation, analysis of historic-pedagogical literature; novelty: the dynamics of the development of higher technical education in Ukraine in the period of the 20 – 30th of the 20th century was realized for the first time in historic-pedagogical aspect in systematic interconnection of social, economic, political conditions with the accent on methodical sphere and teaching process organization; results: practical recommendations in the sphere of reformation of the native system of higher technical education in the process of joining Bolonja process are given; sphere: general pedagogics and history of pedagogics.
