Essay

The dissertation brings forward the analysis and a systematized educational ideas of V. S. Ikonnikov. An integral analysis of his activities in higher educational establishments has been by the author: discovered are periods and the factirs that have formed the scientific and pedagogical outlook of the educational scholar. The author has also generalized the experience of V. S. Ikonnikov's activities in higher educational establishments, in social communities and committees. The results of the investigation has made it possible to define and substantiate V. S. Ikonnikov's personal scientific and pedagogical concept and the ways of using the scholar's creative legacy for the benifit of the Ukraine's national system education and its modernization being planned.
