The thesis is devoted to the problem of educational-organizational activity of a curator in an academic group at technical universities. The research work gives the basic description of development of the curator institution; content, a structure, a state and peculiarities of high technical school educational activity are analyzed. The roles of the curator-providers, tutors, their competences and professional associations are proposed. A sound psychological, pedagogical and cultural training for educational-organizational activity at technical universities as an essential part of the beneficial work of a curator is defined. The new technology in a curator's activity is worked out and tested as a result of experimental work
