Essay

The thesis is devoted to the research of structural, semantic and pragmatical peculiarities of the negative statements formed by means of a number of the language units of different levels. The syntactic position of negative means in the statement is caused by mechanisms of their semantic action. The consecutive violation of parallelism of the form and the contents of the negative sentences is observed in the French language. Asymmetry of syntactic and semantic structures is determined by the semantics of predicates, a level of independence of an element, a negative element, its syntactic function, the contextual situation, the intonational and spelling frame of the statement.
