Thesis for the candidate degree in Philology, speciality, 10.02.05 - Romanic Languages. - Kyiv National Linguistic University, Kyiv, 2006. The thesis focuses on the analysis of Spanish poetic texts of the "Golden Age" from linguostylistic and linguocognitive perspectives. The thesis advanced a new comprehensive complex approach to the investigation of the XVI - XVII centuries Spanish poetry against cultural, stylistic and cognitive background. The work contains the analysis of the poetic texts, literary image and genre organization as a text construct of the basic concepts representation. The study of the textual concepts, such as LIFE, LOVE, GOD, DEATH which present the prototypes of the Spanish national thinking is determined by means of its presentation from communicative and conceptual viewpoints. Metaphors and metonymies represent the key stylistic figures in the structure of Spanish poetic texts of the "Golden Age". The investigation triggers the text-forming peculiarities of the concept presentation on the phonetic, lexical, morphological and syntactical language levels with the focus upon revealing the specific way of world perception by the XVI - XVII centuries Spanish poets.
