Essay

The object of the investigation is the human resource management of the Customs bodies in Ukraine. The objective of the investigation is to determine the ways of improvement of the human resource management of the Customs bodies in Ukraine. The methods of the investigation are historical, dialectical, analysis and synthesis methods, analogy and simulation methods. The empirical methods are: observation, questionnaire, documents' analysis, description, comparison. The scientific novelty of the gained results is: for the first time, the simulation method for the job's description of the Customs bodies employees was used; the technology of the criteria approach to the components of the human resources of the Customs bodies was developed; the assessment mechanism for the top managers of the Customs bodies was offered; approaches to the investigation of the conditions of the human resources of the Customs bodies; the conceptual and categorical principles of the investigation of the human resources of the Customs bodies were improved; approaches to designing psychgrammes, axeogrammes and professional grammes of the public servants and methodology of the expert assessment application for the public servants during the assessment characteristics making gained their further development. The practical value of the investigation: it is used in the personnel work in Lviv and Volyn Customs bodies, in training materials at the faculties of the post-diploma training.
