Bilan L. Formation and development of higher agricultural education in Ukraine (XIX – beginning of XX)

Dissertation is dedicated to the historic – pedagogical analysis of the formation and development of higher agricultural education on the territory of Ukraine in the period of the XIX – beginning of the XX century. The work gives the highlight of the process of the formation of the higher agricultural institutions in Ukraine. There are have been revealed and systemized common features and peculiarities concerning its development, their place and role in education of Ukrainians, provision wilt personnel of the highest qualification. Basing the analysis of its peculiarities the stages of the development of higher agricultural education based. There have been analyzed personnel of professors and lectures, disclosed the main was for solution of the personnel problem in the Ukrainian higher agricultural institutions. There has given description of students in particular, sources and tendencies of their replenishment and social status. Basing the analysis of curriculums and study programs the peculiarities for maintenance of agricultural education are revealed and the trends of its development are designed. The main organization principles, essence, forms, the methods of education activity has been systematized and generalized. There have been determined urgent problems requiring further development.
