Vjacheslavova E. Aesthetics of the myth in the contemporary fine arts in Ukraine

The thesis has investigated aesthetic content-richness of the myth as the category in the contemporary fine arts in Ukraine as well as its post-classical nature and its theoretical opportunities in the analysis of fine arts have been unveiled. The specificity and functions of the myth in modern Art have been analyzed and the genesis of modern artistic-mythological perception and typological features neomythology in Ukrainian art have been characterized. The thesis has studied poetic style of the myth for Art (poetic of archetype; quoting; viewpoints; language codes; alienation; carnivalization). It is discovered that neomythologizm of modern Ukrainian fine arts acts as anti-reducing gear, which prohibits from extremes of cultural formalization.
