Petryshyn R. The scientific-pedagogical activity of Ukrainian emigration in the countries of Central and Western Europe (1919-1939).

The complex analyses of scientific-pedagogical activity of Ukrainian emigration in the countries of Central and Western Europe (1919-1939) has been fulfilled, its peculiarities have been exposed in the thesis. The investigative range of problems includes the organization of education-pedagogical, research and publishing activities of Ukrainian emigration in Europe. The peculiarities of this process have been showed in the light of preconditions and conditions of realization of the scientific-pedagogical activity of Ukrainians in emigration. The knowledge about education and upbringing of young generation of Ukrainians, the professional training in the centres of the Ukrainian emigration, research and publishing activities of Ukrainians in emigration have been introduced in pedagogical science; the possibilities of usage of historical experience in modern living conditions have been defined. The materials, basic principles of the dissertation and the conclusions can be used during teaching of the coursein Pedagogics and History of Pedagogics, the special course in higher educational establishments of different levels of accreditation, for creation of educational and methodical textbooks.
