Essay

The thesis is devoted to the problem of the civil education of junior schoolchildren. It is a first attempt to systematize the theoretical background, to define the conceptual points and contents of educational work on forming civil feelings of the junior pupils in class and in extracurricular activity. The regularities, principles, priority forms and methods of the civil education in studying process are considered; the possibilities of their usage in the context of the investigated scientific problem are analysed. Psychological-pedagogical conditions of the efficient realization of the civil education in class and in extracurricular educational activity are also determined and experimentally checked. The main of them are: the broad usage of Ukrainian folk educational traditions; filling the contents of the teaching material by civil component; increasing professional competence of teachers of the junior forms in context of the civil education of junior schoolchildren; humanization and democratizationof the pedagogical interaction; the individual approach, which provides the teacher's skill to see personality in each pupil
