Stozhok L. Obligatory state retirement insurance within the social policy system

The processes of supporting the functioning of the obligatory state retirement insurance in Ukraine. Grounds of theoretic and methodological preconditions of the introduction of the obligatory state retirement insurance as an institute and instrument of social policy and the development of organizational, economic and legal mechanisms of the enhancement of the retirement insurance system. Methods of research: Theoretic research and empiric data analysis, theoretic synthesis, comparison, analogy, classification, macroeconomic and statistic analysis, systemic analysis, forecasting, and analytical estimations. The author proposed the definition of social risks as socially recognized events in the life of a person of the work-capable age, prevention or mitigation of which were provided by the state retirement insurance, which was the social policy instrument targeting the work-capable and disabled populations. The author developed further the algorithms of determining the financial stability of retirementinsurance system that indicated the necessity of redistribution of the size of retirement contributions between an employer and employee under the obligatory state retirement insurance.
