Essay

Lited problem of seculyarization of the drawing based on the benchmark analysi of traditions of graphic arts of east and west christian churches, founded sources and creative phenomenas, which influenced on transformation of icon canons in secular painting of Ukraine. First time organized complex research difference between icons and religious pictures, their reasons and origin, inside and external sources of the influence and inspiracy. Probed phenomena interdependent of sacral and secular graphic arts traditions based on review of domestic product of the icon drawing in XVII - XIX ct. and religious pictures of the end of XVIII - XX ct. On base of the maded researches were finded out problems of the present development orthodox icon drawing and secular painting in Ukraine.
