Dissertation research is devoted to the problem of usage the general cultural component as the mean of aesthetic education of future foreign language teachers. It has been determined the theoretical analyzing and new solving of the problem of students' aesthetic education by activization the using of the general cultural component based on the world's traditions, grounded the substance of using the general cultural component in process of studying humanitarian subjects on specialty for the formation of the general cultural competence of future teachers, analyzed the educational possibilities of using the general cultural component in studying special humanitarian subjects in high school. Suggested methods of using the general cultural component in the process of aesthetic education of future foreign language teachers on the basis of world's traditions have been theoretically grounded and experimentally checked. The results of forming experiment testify the positive influence of forms of suggestedmethods at the advancement of aesthetic education of students. The main statements and recommendations of dissertation research were applied in practice of work of humanitarian departments of universities.
