Kogyt T. Pedagogical and edukational activity of Vasyl Simovych (1880-1944).

The thesis on competition of a scientific degree of the candidate of pedagogical sciences on a speciality 13.00.01 - general pedagogics and a history of pedagogics, - Precarpathian National University named after Vasyl Stefanyk, Ivano-Frankivsk, 2007. The dissertation gives a complex analysis of Vasyl Simovych pedagogical views, his role in making and developing national system of education and schooling in Ukraine of the second half of the XIX century is revealed. The content and essence of the scholar's teaching practice and his educative activity are scientifically grounded. Also Vasyl Simovych's contribution to the development of Ukrainian cultural and educative movement of the second half of the XIX century is defined.Main results, conceptions and conclusions of the dissertation, the materials and facts of life and scientific pedagogical heritage of the scholar, proposed in our research can be used in creating textbooks and teaching aids of history of education and schooling in Ukraine, also in special courses and seminars of ,,History of Pedagogics", in training teachers at higher educational establishments of different accreditation levels; will assist the up-to-date transition of national educational experience.
