Thesis is devoted to elaboration for new optimum period of the do-mestic aircraft airborne electronics (avionics) maintenance. The task solu-tion is the current status analysis of avionics maintenance with respective final chosen of the index and criterion which have allowed to optimise the periodicity of airborne equipments maintenance. The analytical model of the avionics operation and repair process is devised. That has make interre-lationship between the basic probability, time and cost estimation character-istics of avionics maintenance process. The methods formation for mainte-nance optimum periodicity of avionics complex on the basis of separate sys-tems maintenance periodicity optimisation and coordination of results with the specified avionics operation and repair regulations is developed. Statis-tical modelling of avionics maintenance process is made. The coordination of theoretical results with experimental evidence is checked up.
