Essay

The dissertation is devoted to consideration of historical pedagogical aspects of development of the theory and practice of real education in territory of three Western Ukrainian regions in the second half 19 th - to the first half of the 20 th of century during when these grounds were under authority of the Austrian Empire, the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and in due course the Poland, the Romania that of the Czechoslovakia. Preconditions and the basic periods of development of institutions of real education of the West-Ukrainian grounds in 1849-1939 are characterized. The basic tendencies in development of real education in the European context are revealed. Didactic features of activity of average institutions of real education, in particular the maintenance, forms, methods and means of training in the most widespread institutions of real education are allocated: real schools and real grammar schools of the investigated grounds. The central place in work borrows the analysis of curricula and maintenances of education in average real educational institutions, revealing of essence of school reforms.
