Object of research: osteoarthrosis at dogs. The purpose of research - to substantiate in experiment and clinic of serum glycosaminoglycanum informing in diagnostics of osteoarthrosis at dogs; to improvement of its conservative and operative treatment methods. Methods of research: clinical, rentgenological, computer tomography; experimental modeling (posttraumatic knee and hip osteoarthrosis of white rats, fullthickness defect of rat and dog hip heads); biochemical of blood serum: common calcium, inorganic phosphorus, common albumen and albumen fractions, sialic acid, urea, glycoproteins, common chondroitinsulfates, glycosaminoglycanum fractions, alkaline phosphatase, alaninaminotransferase and aspartataminotransferase activities; histological methods; method of statistical analyses. Scientific novelty of work: for the first time in experiment and clinic it is proved a diagnostic informing of serum glycoproteins, glycosaminoglycanum and its fractions for the estimations of different osteoarthrosis stages at dogs; glycosaminoglycanum and its fraction determination it is used for GAG-containing preparation effectiveness estimation at osteoarthrosis at dogs; for the first time it is developed a new method of hip head fullthickness defect autoplasty at white rats and dogs. It is offered: complex of biochemical methods for the estimation of development stage and conservative and operative treatment methods of osteoarthrosis at dogs; new method for the renewals of joint surface fullthickness defect by an autoplasty. It is introduced: obtained results are used in educational process at studying "Veterinary surgery" (Kharkiv State Zooveterinary Academy, Bila Tserkva State Agrarian University, Lugansk National Agrarian University), "Clinical biochemistry" (Kharkiv State Zooveterinary Academy, National Pharmaceutical University), at scientific investigations and practice of the veterinary medicine. Field of application: Veterinary Medicine.
