Shkromada O. Sanitary-hygienic justification of bactericidal concrete application in premises for keeping pigs.

Object of investigation: industrial premises. Purpose of research: to conduct sanitary and hygienic evaluation of premises made of bactericide concrete and to prove the expediency of its use to build pigsties. Methods of research: physical and mechanical, toxicological, clinical, hematological, biochemical, hygienic, sanitary and microbiological, statistic, zootechnical. The equipment: thermostat, refrigeretor, scales, equipment to determine microclimate indecies. Scientific novelty of the work: Data that characterize bactericidal properties of the surrounding constructions made of concrete with different concentration of disinfection supplements in it have been obtained. Optimal 2 % concentration of bactericidal supplement BB-1 to the concrete of different types that are used to build pigsties has been determined. It has been stated that bactericidal concrete walls improve sanitary condition and microclimate in pig premises, positively effect animal health and productivity. It has been proposed: Bactericidal concrete having 2 % BB-1 is proposed to add.
