Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the solving of a scientific and applied problems concerning prevention of diseases and increasing of efficiency of poultry raising on organic technology. The scientific substantiation of the using of probiotic "LactoPharm LP12" (manufactured by LLC "Lactopharm Ukraine") and the developed postbiotic "Bacteriosan" in the technology of meat, egg and meat-egg areas of organic poultry and experimentally proved their effectiveness. High antimicrobial activity of the postbiotic "Bacteriosan" on test cultures of microorganisms in vitro, as well as a significant antagonistic effect of the probiotic "LactoPharm LP12" were established, harmlessness of both medication on white mice was revealed. Research and production studies were conducted in the conditions of three farms that are certified operators of the organic market of Ukraine, on chickens of different directions of productivity (broiler chickens, hens of meat and egg direction of production and laying hens). The improvement of productivity and safety of poultry of experimental groups in comparison with control is established. Significantly higher weight gain of chickens of all experimental groups, in all research and production experiments compared with the control was established. At the same time, broiler chickens do not realize their genetic potential when grown organically due to their unsuitability for free-range keeping. The benefits of using meat and egg chickens for organic production to improve its efficiency and the welfare of poultry for egg and meat production are substantiated. The use of probiotic "LactoPharm LP12" and postbiotic "Bacteriosan" helps to prevent infection of poultry with infectious diseases, in particular, gastrointestinal infections, does not cause changes in physiological and hematological parameters of the bird organism, improving the quality and taste of the product. In contrast, low-productivity, symptomatic dysbacteriosis, and deaths were observed in untreated poultry. The effectiveness of correction of intestinal microbiocenosis of chickens by the studied medication is confirmed by high titers of lactobacilli in intestinal samples of poultry experimental groups (in all three experiments), which is evidence of proper formation of intestinal microbiocenosis, which avoided significant intestinal colonization by pathogenic microflora. The content of Escherichia coli bacteria in the intestines of chickens of the experimental groups was lower compared to the same indicator of the chickens of the control group with a simultaneous increase in the number of probiotic microflora. Treatment of poultry litter with postbiotic "Bacteriosan" and probiotic "LactoPharm LP12" helped to reduce the total microbial count and the number of micromycetes in the air of poultry houses. It has been proven that the obtained organic products (meat and eggs) from poultry, which were used in the tested preparations, are of high quality and safe according to a number of physicochemical and toxicological studies, as well as by tasting evaluation.
