The experimental research of an endogenic N-acetylglucosamine metabolism in various models of the kidneys inflammatory-destructive diseases was carried out, and the decreasing of its renal tissue contents and the conforming increasing of its blood levels in rats was determined. At a stage of screening researches the presence of nephroprotective activity among glucosamine derivatives was fixed, which more of all has been expressed for glucosamine hydrochloride and its combination with sodium diclofenac. During pharmacological investigation of this drugs at the autoimmune glomerulonephritis model in rats it was established, that they reduce clinical presentations of nephrotic and hydropic syndromes, normalize parameters of a kidneys function state, blood clinical and biochemical indexes and promote protection of a renal tissue structure. Also in conditions of development of renal failure in rats researched agents rendered moderate hypoazotemic actio
