Mikhailenko T. The national upbringing of the Ukrainian Diaspora's youth in Canada (the end of XIX-XX c.).

The thesis deals with the theoretical analysis of the historically conditioned system of the national upbringing of the Ukrainians in Canadian society (the end of XIX-XX c.); researched the main idea, forms and methods of the national upbringing of the young represantatives of Ukrainian diaspora in Canada during the studied period; found out the specific features of different components of the national upbringing as the main factors of preserving the national consciousness of Ukrainian youngsters who live in Canada; made the entire analysis of the specialities of national upbringing in the families of Ukrainian emigrants in Canada; learnt the role and the importance of social, religious organizations and organizations for young people for the national upbringing of the Ukrainian youth in Canada that guaranteed the love and pride to the Ukrainian people, their historic motherland, native language, traditions and customs of the ethinic Ukrainian people.
