Essay

The object is genetics variability in castor bean gametophytic and sporophytic generation. The aims is the studies of influence of selection in the tolerant to Fusarium toxine microgametophytes on the population structure of resulting sporophyte generation in castor bean. Methods: breeding, field, laboratory, in vitro. Novelty: the efficient of microgametophytes selection method as way of role change of next population structure to increasing of resistance posterities was ascertained. Results: due to selection in F1 of the tolerant to toxine microgametophytes, not only a portion of Fusarium resistant plants but a portion of plants with morphological traits and duration of some vegetative stages characteristic for more resistant parents is increased. It was shown that susceptibility to Fusarium in castor bean is under the control not only of two known genes Suf1 and suf2, but the third gene A, which was found in the foreign Nebraska variety (USA). Application stage: patented method of determination of ability to pollen germinate on infected by Fusarium medium possible as express-method of estimate of quality of sporoptyte on resistance to pathogen. Application area: research establishments of UAAS, MES
