The dissertation is devoted to study the rationality of use of antioxidant thiotriazolin and the drug with metabolic activity lovastatin for increase of pharmacotherapy efficacy in ischemic heart disease combined with type 2 diabetes mellitus against the basic therapy of glimepiride considering the phenotype of N-acetyltransferase 2. The prognostic model of NAT2 phenotype determination by anthropological data was first created using mathematical modelling. The ability of thiotriazolin to inhibit significantly metabolism (acetylization) of sulfonamide test-drug was revealed.
