Object: preparation of teachers at higher peda-gogical educational establishments of Ukraine (the second half of the ХХ-th century). Objective: to analyse theoretical principles and practical ex-perience of labour training teachers' preparation in order to take into account their positive ideas and creative realization in modern conditions. Practical value: we found out didactic possibilities of professional orientation, integration of educa-tion with productive work, technical creative work, arts and crafts, worked out and approved the spe-cial course "Preparation of a future labour training teacher for professional and pedagogical activity". Methods: theoretical, empirical.
