Zarivna O. Language as a factor of forming of students tolerance in globalizational society

In the dissertation the role of language strategies in the forming of students tolerance in conditions of globalization is analysed.The term tolerance is defined as characteristic of way and style of world-view and human vital activity, original world-view and cultural setting, the content of which includes the personality ability to accept patiently different expressing of thoughts, positions and behaviour of other people comparing with own ones and way of living, the ability to communicate with them, to stand unfavorable influences, to find out the position by compromise, to put right co-working. It is proved that among the variety of factors that influence on the tolerance forming, special role belongs to language strategies - special educational technologies that guarantee mastering of foreign languages and on this basis guarantee students understanding of each other from different countries of the world, educate respect, form tolerance.
