Ivantsova N. The Development of the Part-Time Professional Worker Training in Ukraine in 1921–1930

The object of study – activity of National ministry department of education of Ukraine, its sections (Ukrainian main department of professional training, Department of professional worker training) on development of the evening and correspondence forms of professional worker training in 1921-1930 and institutions of this link of education in Ukraine, organization of academic process in these institutions, formation of the teaching staff and student's quota in them. The purpose of study is creation of an objective complete picture of a history of formation and development of system of professional worker training on the job and organization of academic process in its institutions. The methods: logic, historical, synchronous, retrospective, structural-system, statistical, method of concrete sociological research. The practical value of the work: the materials of the dissertation can be used at creation of general courses on a history of Ukraine, special courses on problems of cultural construction andnational education, and also for a spelling of the manuals, course and degree works, preparation of generalizing scientific works on a history of formation of education, by preparation of a various reference media on a history of education, creation of the textbooks and spelling of the monographies, development of lecture courses. The thesis addresses the problem of the extra-mural professional worker training system development in Ukraine in 1921–1930. On the basis of a great number of sources, the main tasks that the establishments of extra-mural professional worker training faced have been explored and there adequacy and the correspondence to the political/economic situation in the USSR of that period have been considered; the types of establishments that belonged to the system of extra-mural professional worker training have been defined and their scientific systematization has been carried out; the main tendencies of development of the network of the part-time and distance learning system in Ukraine in the 20s-30s of the X-th century have been defined; the main stages of development of the system have been established taking into account social/economic and political conditions of the time period under study. The peculiarities of how the academic process in the educational establishments of the part time and distance learning was organized have been spotlighted in the present research; this peculiarities have been established by studying the curricular; the dynamics of the content, ways and prospective of learning have been revealed; the analysis of the teacher and student contingent formation has been carried out.
