Essay

The thesis presents the analysis of psychophysiological characteristics and study success of junior pupils with different physical and mental load. Investigation of properties of basic nervous processes, sensomotoric functions, memory and attention and study success of children of junior school age with different regimen of physical and mental activity was carried out. It has been ascertained that functional mobility of nervous processes, sensomotoric and psychic functions slowly and unevenly develop from 7 to 9 years of age. Children going in for sport showed distinguishing features in their development of separate properties of neurodynamic, sensomotoric and psychic functions as compared to control group of the same age. Similar differentiating features were observed between children with additional mental load and those with additional physical load.
