The thesis is a theoretic and experimental research of the problem of formation of socially important skills of future teachers. The process of formation of socially important skills is analyzed in historic and pedagogical as well as socially and psychological aspects, specifies the basic notions of research. The structural model of formation of socially important skills of future teachers was made on this basis. It contains the following blocks: goal – oriented, organizational and content – oriented, block of realization, evaluational and block of result. The pedagogical technology of socially important skills formation of future teachers is developed The effectiveness of the structural model and technology is tested experimentally. The main results of the research can be used in the educational process in the higher educational establishments.
