Essay

The present paper represents historical and pedagogical analysis of the problem of the formation and development of the ideas concerning individual approach in domestic pedagogics of the end of the XIXth – beginning of the XXth century. The author has analyzed the origin of the pedagogical viewpoints of the prominent domestic teachers for the problem of individual approach in the educational process, as well their contribution into the native pedagogical science. The periodization of the process of formation of the idea of the individual approach in the scientific theory has been analyzed the main tendencies of the introduction of the idea of the individual approach in the native theory and school practice of the end of the XIXth – beginning of the XXth century. The author have been substantiated the number of recommendations for the teachers of elementary school on the basis of using of scientific inheritance of K. Ushynskyj, S. Myropolskyj, Kh. Alchevska, Y. Chepiha and others. The paper determinesthe ways of implementation of the most important gains of the creative inheritance of the famous teachers of the end of the XIXth – beginning of the XXth centuries with an aiming at the optimization of the educational process in the presentday elementary school in Ukraine.
