Zvonar V. Cross-sektor Partnership as Social Policy Implementation Mechanism (Volyn Region Case Study).

The dissertation aimed at creation of theoretical and methodical bases of social policy new mechanism deployment in regions of Ukraine. That mechanism is presented as cross-sector partnership, which appears to be a continuous cooperation among three society sectors: state, nongovernmental nonprofits and private for-profits. The paper defines a link between cross-sector partnership and tripartism. Institutional and organizational principles of cross-sector partnership deployment are described as well. The dissertation presents a case study on one of the depressed areas of Ukraine with social challenges in the area examined, state authorities performance towards combating them ascertained, local business social activities generalized, social efforts and potential of local nonprofits assessed and cross-sector partnership scope for social policy in the area defined. The paper develops the complete economic-organizing model of full-scale introduction and deployment of cross-sector partnership meeting new challenges in social environment in Ukraine.
