Vnukova M. Pharmacotherapeutic efficiency of coordinative compound of germanium with nicotinamide in experimental drug-induced hepatitis.

The dissertation is devoted to the experimental substantiation of application expediency of coordinative compound of germanium with nicotinamide in condi-tions of toxic hepatitis caused by antituberculous drugs. The protective activity of the investigated substance lies in its ability to pre-vent the formation of spread membrane pathology by means of significant de-crease of intensity of free radicals generation and accumulation and effective regulation of oxidant-antioxidant homeostasis in the organism of rats with drug-induced hepatitis. Moreover, the potential liver protector corrects the concentration of main components of adenylic-nucleotide system and level of energetic indexes, modifies the activity of energetic enzymes and normalizes the level of main parameters of carbohydrate metabolism in the modeled form of toxic process in liver. Liver protective activity of coordination compound of germanium with nico-tinamide realizes also by means of level correction of main components of mito-chondrialand и microsomal electron transport links of hepatocytes and normalization of functional state of detoxicative system of liver in conditions of chronic toxic rug-induced hepatitis.
