Slyesarchuk V. Cerebroprotective action of Quercetin's preparations.

Dissertation work is devoted the study of cerebroprotective activity of Quercetin's preparations ( Lipoflavone and Corvitine) and Lipine. Experimental researches showed on the model of sharp immobilization stress (SIS), that application of Quercetin's preparations in the dose of 5 mg/kg and Lipine resulted in the decline of processes of freely-radical oxidization and normalization of activity of antioxydative enzymes in the different departments of rat's brain. Subject to the condition the formed cerebral ischemia at application of Quercetin's preparations and Lipine is expressly traced positive dynamics of displays of them cerebroprotective actions. Mechanism of cerebroprotective action of Quercetin's preparations to our opinion, conditioned their ability of ingibit formation of OAF, to multiply activity of antioxidant enzymes, positively to influence on power processes, multiplying the same possibility to the survival of neurons and saving of cognitive functions of brain.
